January-May: I worked my buns off. Graduating early isn't as easy as it sounds. It's pretty dang difficult. No worries, I figured it out.
February: I decided to get a job. Actually that's a lie. I had absolutely no intention on getting a job. I was perfectly fine with living off my parents for a while, but then Chad's boss met me and offered me a job on the spot. So, for some crazy reason I took it. It killed me. I never slept, but whatever. Now I have management experience and it will be easier to find a job that's not Subway.
May: Graduation finally came. It is one of my biggest accomplishments and I'm so glad I did it. A lot of people asked me why I wanted to leave High School a year early so here are reasons why I did and, more importantly, why I didn't.
-I DID do it because I could. I realized I would only have to take a few extra online classes and I could easily graduate.
-I DID NOT do it because I wanted to marry Chad. I am not the "jump-the-gun" kind of girl. I never even thought, "Hey, we are both graduating early. We can get married now!" I don't actually plan on getting married until I have a college degree. I was SHOCKED when I found out that rumor was Chad and I were graduating to get married. Bottom line, I'm not married. And won't be for quite some time.
-I DID do it because it was challenging. This was the most exciting part for me. I've never been challenged in school, and even though the content wasn't difficult for me, my work load was huge and it was a struggle every day to get it all done.
-I DID NOT do it because I was pregnant. I don't think anyone thought this, but I've been watching 16 and pregnant and thought I might mention I'm not a mommy either.
-I DID do it because I was over High School. Despite what a million and two people told me, High School was not the best time of my life. I hated it. I love college. So I really don't think I will ever regret my decision.
Summer: I registered for college. Woah. That was scary for sure, but like I said, I love it. I also worked even more. Then quit. And told my boss that he is basically an idiot and plays favorites. He told me he had a lot of respect for me because I was able to tell him that. Then he said I can come back and work at any time with a raise. That worked out in my favor!
July: I went to Disneyland for the first time in years. I had such a blast. Me and Chad flew to California to meet my parents who were already there. My dad pretty much said you guys have a room key, a shuttle pass, and your tickets. Go do your own thing. I was so grateful for that.
Highlights: Eating at that restaurant inside pirates of the Carrabian. We made reservations two months in advance.
The restaurant inside our hotel. Some of the best food I've ever had and an amazing atmosphere. We were pleasantly surprised.
World of Color. The show was amazing. I loved it.
August: College, college, and more college! I also found out that my brother's girlfriend was pregnant. It was a huge bomb, but I'm over it now. Kinda. My mom on the other hand... yikes. Baby shower is on the fifteenth. Any one who wants to come keep me sane is welcome. Just let me know and I'll get the info for you. The adoption was also finalized and I caught up with an old friend.

September: Disneyland again. This time with Chad's family. I think I had more fun this time. We took the two babies which made it unforgettable. Chad and I had at least twenty people ask us how old our twins were. Since we didn't want to explain that one is five months, and one is eleven, we just said eight months :) and Chad would always add, doesn't my wife look good??

October: I turned the big eighteen. I didn't do much. Dinner at Olive Garden and a day of shopping with my mom. Couldn't ask for more! We also went to the Graham County Fair where my cousins were showing hogs. Chad learned real fast the difference between city and country life. Saydee also turned ONE!! She is spoiled rotten.

November: I celebrated two thanksgivings and went back to work. We also dropped a huge bomb on Jannae, but she is still our friend, and we couldn't be more grateful. I love you girl!
December: We ran a Christmas tree lot and then sold fireworks. Lets just say, we are all pyros now :)

{this is how I sold trees. Sit in the motor home and wear glasses that make me look faded}
So much for quick. I'll shut up now. Hope everyone had a fantastic New Years!
