Alright, time to play catch up!
Valentine's Day was so fun.
My day started out by sleeping in!! Exactly what I've needed. Then, I rushed down to Chad's house so that I could see him before he went to work.
We celebrated most of V-day on Saturday. Chad's nephew, Nevan, is a little Valentine's baby so we had his birthday party at the Train Park. We had so much fun. Sadly, Chad couldn't come {dang work} but I took lots of pictures for him! His family is so fun – they throw the best parties!

After the party, I went home and really got into the V-day mood. So I baked! (My secret love) I made red velvet Valentine cupcakes for all my friends and family.

Once Chad got off that night, we ordered Hungry Howies and took it to the drives to see Valentine's Day. We loved the movie, but of course Chad's truck broke down – again. Chad tried the "tap tap" method, but that failed us, so we called Momma and Uncle Rick to come and save us. Rick did the "tap tap" harder, and he got us going (that's what she said). We went home and Chad pouted, while I fell asleep. Then when I woke up I had to rush home to at least come close to getting home by 12:00. It's a good thing my mom doesn't really enforce a curfew. I've made a bad habit of letting Chad play his game while I fall asleep in his arms – I've been getting home late like every night.
Sunday I was able to sleep in again (thank heavens for the new year bringing 11:00 church back!). When I got home I got all Chad's presents made and together. I made him some brownies and cut out letters so it would say…
I wrote out some cute Valentines and I got together my HOV lane friend, Henry.
